Why is the Wendys in Indian Land, SC build backwards? The front of the store is not facing the road. This makes no sense to me!

I never thought of that, you are right. Maybe they thought there wasn't anything to look at across the street.

Probably because they were targeting the Sun City folks as opposed to the 521 traffic.

Not specifically sure why the Wendy's was built that way in the past. However, moving forward, I believe we'll be seeing a lot more of it as it's a guideline in the new Unified Development Ordinance (UDO).
