Accept no imitation. I bought the blue tin of what I thought were the original Danish cookies of my youth at the Family dollar. I opened it up and realized my mistake immediately, still I pressed on, hoping they would taste good. I was disappointed, they did not taste the same, or even good at all, although my family had no issues plowing through the tin.

My favorite real Danish cookie was the pretzel shaped ones. Yum.
