Moving To Dayton, OH. Please HELP!

I recently accepted my first post-collegiate job (yay!) and it requires me to relocate to Dayton (a little less excited). I'm wondering what areas would be great for a mid 20-something female. I would like the neighborhood that is vibrant, safe, and not too far from Centerville (I'm not crazy about long commutes). Any help would be appreciated!
