Yankee Stadium

Posted 09-21-2008 at 11:33 AM by DOUBLE H

Today is the last day of baseball for the 2008 Major League season for baseball to be played in Yankee Stadium. Yankee Stadium is the most recognized, most revered stadium in the United States. It is sad that it will be torn down soon. I am sure to be outvoted when it comes to this issue. I think it's sad when another traditional landmark is bulldozed down for progress, for glitz, for having multiple restaurants built in to the new stadiums.

You are not alone! We've enjoyed a lifetime of watching or listening to Sunday afternoon games played at the stadium. What history and to just tear it down - it is painful to think about. We're with you, it's a shame.
