Energy Audits are the First Step

With so much attention and press heaped on the renewable energy market, it is easy to miss the most obvious and painless way to reduce our dependance on foreign oil. Make our homes and workplaces more energy efficient. This all starts with an energy audit. A qualified expert should be engaged to measure, test and inspect the property and make recommendations for improvement. Most homes can significantly increase their efficiency for under $1000. With the tax credit of $1500 (materials only) the net cost can be as low as several hundred dollars. The payback as short as six (6) months.
