moving back to long island ASAP.

Im moving back to my little town of East Northport, NY as soon as I can. I moved here to Melbourne, Florida last October and I really dont dig it here. its not what I thought. I miss the little town feel and community feeling. I miss the seasons. I miss my friends. Its very hard to make friends down here. There are too many rednecks down here. The crime rate is going up. everyday there are about 50+ arrests. everyone has a record, is on probation. Its too hot in the summer. I felt much safer on Long Island. People are definitley more friendly up there. The pay stinks down here and the cost of living is going up but they still want pay 80s paychecks.I miss walking in the grass. Do that down here and youll be covered (and bit to shreds) by fireants. I miss having my windows open and fresh air coming in. hearing the birds, LIRR tooting his horn, St. Anthonys church bells. The beaches are nice down here but I think Long Island beaches are much more interesting.I need my "cheers" bar back with my "cheers" friends who , when I imitate a seinfeld episode, they know exactly what Im talking about. The bakeries, delis, the woods. Yes indeed, im going home soon.
