Rainy Day Here In The Woods

Good evening! Wet and chilly out there tonight. Makes me even more sleepy then I usually am! My RA has been flaring these past few days and I believe it's the wet weather that's doing it. Didn't do too much today. I almost got the pickup stuck in the yard. I had to unload the doggie food into their bins and I in no way was going to haul those 50lb. bags from the drive-way. But, good ol 4 wheel drive got me out. Things have been so tight money wise here that I don't know what to put off paying for. Food for me is at the top of the list right now. I'm looking at canned soup and peanut butter sandwiches. But that's OK with me, I love both. I also have some frozen homemade soup and enough ingredients for bread. My surveys have been bringing in some nice income lately. It's a good thing too, it pays for the gas for the truck and a few little things.
Someone on another board says that I should be more open about what is going on with me. Like my health problems, which I usually play down. But I think everyone knows that I'm having problems. I have been short of breath lately due to my COPD, I can barely make it back to the house after taking care of the dogs. But with no money and no health insurance, I can't afford the medications that I need for it. I can barely use my hands and wrists, because of my RA, same thing, no money for the meds. My knees are terrible because of my OA and I can barely make it out of bed some mornings. I've been having strange pains in my chest lately, not sharp pains, just flutter pains. I've doubled up on my Toperl (heart meds) to see if that helps. I can't afford to go to the doctor, wish that they would hurry up with this heath care bill. I probably will be long gone before it goes into law.
Wish I would have pushed my Doctor for the body transplant.
Well, better check on my surveys. But here's my thought for my friends for the day:
Guardian Angel,watch over those whose names you can read in my heart.
Guard over them with every careand make their way easy and their labours fruitful.
Dry their tears if they weep;
sanctify their joys;
raise their courage if they weaken;
restore their hopet hey lose heart, their health if they be ill,truth if they err,repentance if they fail.
