VOTE NO ISSUE 5
Putting aside that I work for a payday lending company and I'll be out of a job along with an estimated 6000!!! I don't agree with the 545 bill to begin with! Who are they to tell us what to do with our money? How to spend it: where to spend it? Freedom hasn't been free for a long time and now it's becoming more expensive as each day passes. We're getting close to election day and I truly hope everyone reads into this bill before they vote. the low interest rate means "goodbye" to all the payday lending companies. Where are the employees to go work at? Where are our customers to go when they need a little cash before pay day?? It's the peoples choice to do as they please! Working for a pay day lending company, I understand that some people abuse their right to this.. some people get stuck in debt.. there are other ways out! Isn't it our right though to have the option!?!? Shouldn't we be able to make our OWN decision!?!? As the 4th aprroaches at a rapid pace; we all sit here and wonder what will happen to our careers, our families and our lives if this effect takes a hold in a negative way. Did you know that if the law passes and you loan twice within a 90 days period of time you'll be assigned to take a financial credit counciling class? Are you prepared?? I am not.

The only complaint I have is that it is now the 12th of November and the pay day loan people are still in bussiness. Either they are ignoring the law or they told lots of bare faced lies when they said they would loose their jobs.
Al Copone went to prison for less than they were doing before election day.Posted 11-12-2008 at 08:14 AM by Rigel541
