Security finance corporation in lenoir city, tn

OK, so I'm a college graduate with a Bachelors Degree & I moved down in Lenoir City, TN a year and a half ago. I have had NO LUCK on the job front whatsoever, there are NO JOBS for a college graduate in this area, AT ALL!!!

My advice is to steer clear of this place, I am leaving as soon as I am able to!

WELL, my experience with SECURITY FINANCE CORPORATION in Lenior City TN was a real eye opener. ALTHOUGH the owner in knoxville is very polite, the people they have hired for the office in Lenoir City is quite the opposite of PROFESSIONAL!! I couldn't believe my encounter just recently in the first week of JULY 2010.

There was a job posting on most of the internet job boards of SEcurity Finance Corporation looking for a customer service rep so I called the contact number to find out the lady in charge of the hiring process was on vacation. She sent me to her assitant, a polite young man who seemed to be new at his job. He referred me to walking into the local office here in Lenoir City, TN and told me he was at the knoxville location, but that he would go from there once I walked into the lenoir city location and filled out their application.

When I got to the office, it was small, dark inside, and only 2 women working. Immediately I noticed a female in her teens at the front she was friendly, but the other female who was in her late 30s or 40s her name was Tonay and she was a complete B. She scanned me with her eyes and asked me my name like she had authority, but she is not management, and if she is she needs to go through training. She had a very fake rude personality about herself. As I sat in the lobby filling out their application, a handwritten questionare on the second page threw me off wanting to join their company. The question asked if I knew anybody in their particular office. I am not from this area and I am looking for work. Why would I have to KNOW someone in the office if I am not from the area? How would anybody NOT FROM LENOIR CITY TN get a job if they ONLY HIRE PPL WHO GREW UP IN THIS TINY AREA of TN????

Leaving this blank because obviously I don't know anybody in their small company or area of TN and I don't understand why it matter or why they would go by that in a hiring decision, I turned in my application. Before I did this however, the two females made in-modest comments about their own company. I overheard that the company was going under, and I also heard gossiping about negativity toward other employees working there. I heard fake stiffled laughter and noticed the Tonya woman was changing her voice when she got on the phone with customers giving them a very FAKE introduction and phone conversation. It was highly unproffesionaly and obnoxious. Well just yesterday I called their local office and this Tonya woman answered me.

I asked her about the open job position, she was very quick and rude with me, lying about her job position with this company telling me she was management which in fact she is not. She told me they HIRED FROM WITHIN.

My question is WHY would they even post a job opening if they were ONLY hiring from WITHIN & HOW DO THEY EXPECT THEIR COMPANY TO EVER GROW IF THEY DON'T GIVE PEOPLE FROM OTHER PLACES A CHANCE?

THIS COMPANY IS CLEARLY NOT GOING TO MAKE IT SO I'M VERY GLAD I WAS NOT HIRED ON AND HOPEFULLY WHOEVER IS THE OWNER OF THIS COMPANY WILL SEE WHAT IS GOING ON UNDER THEIR NOSES AND BEHIND THEIR BACKS.
