Need a College Football Playoff - Will Boycott Work?

Posted 11-23-2008 at 03:19 PM by Pac101964

Millions of college football fans want a playoff for Div-1A/BCS. If the power conference administrators continue to ignore the majority of the fans because they think revenue could possibly be lost, then should college fans who want a playoff of 8 to 16 teams start to boycott network coverage and game site to get there attention? Does anyone think it will work? Shouldn't the majority rule or does the paying fan who also pays taxes to state funded schools who also receive network cash have no say in this? Even the new President wants a playoff.
