Moving to Seattle from Cincinnati

Posted 11-24-2008 at 10:48 AM by kim1972

Hello,

My husband and I may be moving to Seattle in the next couple of months. I have a 17 year old son and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what high schools in the Seattle area have good reputations. We were considering the Tacoma area so if you could give me thoughts on that too, I would appreciate it.

Thanks.

    Hopefully not to late.

If you can help it, stay put. We moved with my 19 year old daughter to Tacoma from New Jersey. The trip was an experience to never forget but the destination has been a big disapoinment. The colleges are geared like high schools. The people are really nice though but at a price to be begged for money at almost every store entrance. People are being layed off left and right, but i'm sure thats everywhere these days. What shocked us the most is the homeless. I never seen so many homeless people in my life and i've traveled all over. For a state that is cold and rainy most of the year it brings tears to your eyes. We are looking to move back east soon where the people may be rude but at least you dont get approached for money everytime you go somewhere.
