Indeed no one fully knows the Son except the Father, and no one fully knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son wishes to reveal him. Come unto me, all you who are struggling and burdened and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, because I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your soul for my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”[/B][/FONT]

[FONT=Verdana]I don’t know how often I’ve found comfort in this passage. It means to me, Jesus is always there, with that pat on the back, always my comforter as indeed he has promised to be. He is “closer than a brother”. He was there when my flesh-and-blood brother died as he was turning 21 years of age, and had his whole life ahead of him. He would have graduated college that spring. Then my grandmother, grandfather, my mom, and dad all passed away. But he was always there for me. His comfort is beyond words. It strikes “soul deep” into the heart, and lets you know not to worry or fret as that is the enemy’s way of slipping doubt into your mind.[/FONT]

[FONT=Verdana]You may not feel Jesus is real. That may be because you are not “studying to show yourself approved” by the Father or perhaps you have not been immersed into his death and resurrection yet (Acts [/FONT][FONT=Verdana]2:38[/FONT][FONT=Verdana]).[/FONT]
[FONT=Verdana] [/FONT]
[FONT=Verdana]But I’m here to let you know Jesus does love you. He wants more than anything for you to come to him for his forgiveness and grace. He has promised to live his life within you, to circumcise your heart, to lead you into all holiness until you are just like your Father is! That means writing all his commandments on your heart so you will never forget them. This is the gift he has for you. The gift of the Holy Spirit.[/FONT]
