Everybody who moves to Florida thinks they will love it and moving there will improve their lives. They disrupt their life, relationships, and everything they have now and spend lots of money to move to Florida.
BUT:
From 2000 to 2009 a yearly average of
851,262 people moved to Florida
479,586 People moved out

Want to know why almost a half million people leave Florida every year?

My attempt to boost my blog readership

I have the feeling that I may be the only one reading my blog, and possibly my moderator. So in an attempt to increase it's readership I mentioned to both my son who is going to law school now (closing in on 10 years of post high school education) and my parents that I had embarked on a gardening blog adventure and would appreciate their support.

Judging from the sudden and prolonged uncontrolled laughter from my son and the long uncomfortable two minute silence from my parents, I think my total blog readership may still be just 1 or 2. For the sake of those readers and maybe someone who got here by pressing the wrong key, I intend to add more of my gardening tale within the next day or two.

I appreciate the blogs on this site where people get out of their own heads and write about the world around them. Who wants to read about someone else's weight loss or exercise program or relationship issues? It's probably useful for those people to journal, but it's boring to read!

I'd love to read about your gardening adventures in Florida! Write about what you observe and encounter and it will be interesting. I don't know anything about Florida.

Only about 5 - 10 people read my blog! The only exception was when I wrote some iffy things about Baptists (Ha!). That got a lot of viewers!

I just started blogging to try to train myself to be a good observer and to encourage myself to learn something new every day.

I'll read your blog when I can!

Well, I read the above blog and tried to think of one. I've never been on a diet in my life so that was no good. Am very happily married so that wasn't a problem. My two kid have grown up and appear to be quite normal so what can I write about?
I like people and people watching, can I write about that?
