Bird Watching

Posted 01-03-2013 at 07:01 PM by Fossil Fools

I love bird watching. They hop, twitter, chirp, sing, and eat mosquitos. I also don't care what their scientific name is. I like them all. Green ones, brown, grey, red...it doesn't matter. They also like me for some reason as I am able to pet them and hold them. Maybe the reason I can do this is because I just think of them as rabbits, but without fur, just feathers. They are soft and their hearts flutter faster than they can fly. I am able to bring them into our house for breakfast occasionally. We give them our stale, moldy bread.
Our cats like this visit a lot. But I have to sequester them from my bird friends. They sleep with me because our cats are waiting outside the door of our bedroom. Sadly though due to the way I sleep they are often not able to fly away in the morning.
I have a very nice, fluffy pillow.
