It has been said that cities with their downtown district at the edge of town tend to have mediocre results. Our's, of course, at the East end.

Once urban sprawl begins, it tends to be a cancer.

End result seems to be the need to own and drive a car.

Get this: If you don't book your reservation, and pay for it (if using credit card), you may be charged a fee if the automated phone system "Julie" isn't utilized.

If having difficulties, simply try getting as far as possible with the automated. Then explain same to live agent thereafter. Surely the fee will be left out of the picture, unless the Amtrak corp is abandoning common sense.
