Is college too long?

I think college is too long. I'm sick of school and just want to start working. However, that won't happen until 2018.
In my thread, I found this comment:
It made me laugh. I wonder how well-rounded I've become so far. My major (speech-langauge pathology) has 60 hours of major-related courses. And there's a total of 120 to get the degree. So, I guess that means that "thatguydownsouth" is more well-rounded than I am, lol. Maybe there is something to the whole southern hospitality phenomenon.
