There is so much to do in Orlando this Spring! April has tons of great activities all around our City Beautiful. No matter what you like to do there is a little something for everyone!

Try the Go Orlando Card ~ You'll get discounts into many of the smaller venue's like Gatorland, Orlando Eye, Kennedy Space Center, etc. It's worth a look if you are going to several of these.

Cornell Fine Arts Museum http://www.rollins.edu/cornell-fine-...nts/index.html
This free admission museum showcases over 6,000 art pieces ranging from the Renaissance to the Baroque period. Art lovers of all ages will not want to miss one of the oldest collections in all of Florida.

The Winter Park Farmer's Market is held from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday. Local vendors and farmers sell their homemade and homegrown specialties, including fruits, vegetables, organic produce, baked goods and more. Spring is a great time to explore Winter Park and start at the Farmer's Market.

Lake Eola Park is a 43-acre recreational area in the heart of downtown Orlando. Visitors can picnic along the shore, enjoy one of the many free concerts at the amphitheater, feed the resident swans or stop by the farmer's market on Sundays.

Fort Christmas Historical Park is a little slice of old Florida. Visit the fort, the historical homes on site and the gift shop.

Big Tree Park in Sanford features 11 acres of natural vegetation and wetlands.

All of these beaches are within a one- to two-hour drive of Orlando.
Cocoa Beach ~ One of the beaches that Orlandoans consider “ours,” Cocoa Beach sits just east of Orlando, a straight shot down the State Road 528 toll road. ...

New Smyrna Beach.~ a charming beach town rooted in local culture, art and a beautiful, white sandy shoreline. Known for its coastal architecture and personality, New Smyrna Beach is a prime location for surfers as well as visitors looking for a laidback community filled with hidden adventures.

Clearwater Beach ~ is a barrier island off a peninsula, so it takes some bridge-hopping to reach it. But three miles of powdery white beach and abundant family attractions await in this reawakening old shore town. Mom 'n' pop hotels, shops, restaurants and attractions have kept that cluttered.

Daytona Beach ~ remains one of the few Florida destinations where you can drive the minivan onto the sand, park it and unload for an easy family day in the sun and surf on lifeguard-patrolled beaches.

Canaveral National Seashore. If you have a senior-national park pass you can enter free. Otherwise it's $10...but worth it. Miles and miles of natural Florida dunes as they used to be. Beautiful and packed with wildflowers, butterflies and tons of birds...everywhere!!! We saw tons of different birds everywhere and up close. The beaches are just natural with no added "junk"-No shops, no ads, no food concessions, no tons of trash. Just beautiful crushed shell sand (a little sticky but pretty) and miles of gorgeous water and waves. If you go to the end at Playalinda-parking lot 13 which was amazing. It's clothing optional at that point after you cross over to the beach so be aware of that!!!
