Neighbor dislikes me greatly, and only me

He came up, on his own and smoked. I have never brought it up since then. We had a good smoke I thought. He brought up 2 things to do next summer and he asked for a hug goodbye and then he went out the door and gave me a scowl. It was honestly weird and if he was getting out of what he felt was an obligation, I never made him feel that way. I was resigned to, ok he doesn't like me.
He is back to ignoring me. I gave him cookies for Christmas, and again HE brought up smoking and lied. I don't care if we smoke at this point. I thought maybe he misunderstood my intentions and mentioned being friends and that I was just being a neighbor and no flirting on my part. He got rude, said there was no reason to be insecure and now I just want to move out. It's like a hot and cold boyfriend without any benefits and he is overly nice to everyone:/[/quote]
