Do the Tri-cities trend liberal or conservative?

The whole east side of the state trends quite conservative, really, with a libertarian streak. Actually in some ways I would consider Seattle more libertarian than straight-up liberal like say New York or Boston. In Seattle, for example, you can walk down the street drinking a bucket-size Mountain Dew, and no one will say anything.
