Two friends of ours here in the country bought large metal buildings and built homes in them, turned out beautiful, but the outside doesn't look like a home until they get some things done to help with that aspect.
We want to have some private land so not worried about it being a major eyesore for those who might have an negative opinion over the looks.
We have looked into modular homes also and toured some the past couple of years. Might have to get creative...
