Focus on the history and activities of the major Black/Mixed 1% Clubs: Chosen Few, Sin City Desciples, Wheels of Souls, & Outcast mc. There isn't a significant bookshelf on them in comparison to the other major clubs. As far the old blog I've sum it up to a single post.
Afro Crime Syndicates/Networks
I have focus on the history and formation of organized crime in the Black Underworld in the US in this forum. I'd been reading about Organized Crime over a decade as a past time out of intrigued & history. To understand the inner workings of the rackets and operators while dispelling myths & stereotypes of it.
Due to the country's history of discrimination, records, & sparse studies of the past southern/rural underworld have proved difficult in assessing the full scope of Afram (Afro American/African American) Organized Crime. That focus started with learning about the Philly Black Mafia & the book about them called Black Brothers Inc. From there I've discovered many racketeers & their activities in major cities within black communities. Mostly dismiss or downplayed by criminologist & some law enforcement past & present due to various attitudes & media portrayals. With the rise of the drug trade post 60s and the expansion of fraternal-based street gangs, Black Organized Crime portrayal in mainstream media can be misleading or primary focus on street-oriented opportunist/lifestyles.
I have discussed about various groups/networks with other posters on this forum and shared my findings here: All organized crime threads by BlackFamily @ GangsterBB.net.
Peace.
