My Maryville TN Crime Map 2022
I drove out to Maryville TN and Seymour TN to gauge crime rates using my iphone app "Crime and Place".

Green = Low crime
Orange = Average crime
Red = Highish, but not that high
1st number = violent crime (murder, rape, robbery, assault)
2nd number = property crime (burglary, larceny, auto theft)
This is just one source, just a starting point, not a be all and end all. Everybody should do their own due dilegence when investigating where to live with low crime. My crime map of Maryville just gives an indication of relative crime levels over the area.
The relatively low crime rate on City Data compares reasonably with my crime app.

You always have to to your own research with crime rates. That high crime neightborhood could just be all retail crime at the nearby mall while your subdivision is crime free. Or it could be a bunch of bar fights at midnight while street crime is low all hours. You have to do more research than what I have provided here, but it is a start.
