If you are in the market to buy a home, cheaper houses is a good thing

When I talk about living within one's means I'm talking from experience. I've been out of real estate business since August. I've been out of work before, no big deal. I drive cars I played cash for. I live in a Breckenridge house I built, myself, 6000 SqFt in a very nice Breckenridge real estate neighborhood. I live very well, but I started out sleeping on the floor with my new wife because I refused to borrow money for a bed. I saved every penny she made when she worked because I didn't want to become dependent on her income. I use money for my needs and for security, not to have more stuff than my neighbors. And if you are in the real estate market to buy a home, cheaper houses is a good thing. We wouldn't complain if our clothes, cars, or gas got cheaper
