I need help

Hi me and my boyfriend and our 2 cats are looking into moving to Bangor Maine from Philly around June 2010. The job market here is atrocious and the cost of living is becoming way beyond our means. I currently work in collections/customer serivice and he is on SSI and Disability and we were wondering a few things like what are the electrical companies, what is a good company to get a bundle package with (phone, tv and internet), are there any apts. we should be wary of, where is the nearest Social Security office. Just basic setting up a new life checklist would be extremely grateful. Thanks for reading my rant
