Got that Rainy Day feelin'

Breath in, breath out -- be here now.
Nope -- still rainin'. Darn!
Up since three, trying to clear my head of the negative response to waking to another morning of rain. (Seems like much of this trip has been "too much" of one adverse weather or another: rain, wind, excessive heat, or cold....)
Weird how when I'm feeling like this, it colors my perspective of life. Things that shouldn't bother me, do.
Pema Chodron's training tells us to breath in the negative, wrap it in love and compassion, and breath out positive. Right now, it just seems like a big "WHY BOTHER?"
Guess this teaches me for compassion for all the others in the world that feel this way, but frankly I'm just not in the mood.

I live in the Pacific Northwest and the rain affects everyone during sometime in the year. It's ok. You know the weather will change and you will feel better in a day or two.
