Ohio To Fort Worth

My husband and I want to move to Fort Worth, but we don't really know how to go about it. I have some family there, but I don't want to ask them for help because they have a family of there own. Anyways we want to move as soon as we can, but I want to know how you go about getting a job there when you live out of state? I also want to know how to go about moving our stuff there? I know you can rent a truck and drive it there, but is that the best way to do it? So if anyone can offer me some advice that would be great!!:)
