The Angels in Our Lives

They go unnoticed most of the time, because they do not call attention to themselves, they just do what they do, and we all benefit from them.
They work on our roads, and keep us from ruining our tires.
They go out into the storms and fix our utility lines, so we can keep our foods cold, and our lights on.
They pick up the litter that we drop in our ignorance, so that we may still enjoy our views.
They slow down so we can pass safely, when we are impatient.
They take in the dogs and cats we abandoned, so that even their short lives will be happier, and we are delivered from our guilt.
They deliver food to our aged and infirm, so that we can get on with those "important" things to which we choose to put our attentions.
They smile, even when we don't.
No matter how short their time on earth, their impact is immense, so that we may continue to be petty and insignificant.
Thank you, to all the angels. I may suffer my ignorance, but with your examples I am becoming better.
God Bless you, EACH and ALL.
