Finally Going back Home

We gave our notice, instead of 30 days we gave 60 so we could have all our ducks in a row and that I have plenty of medicine on hand before we leave as I will have to find a new dr.. my old one back home retired.
August was a downer month, as I was given the news from my drs here that I have Alpha 1 . A hereditary disease.. Something we didn't know about till my little brothers dr tested him because of his breathing. something that I have a horrible time with as well.
Since there is no cure for this crap, I have signed a waiver to be included in research for this crap.
But I am happy that I am going back home.
Vanderbilt deals with alpha patients as well. so it is a win win situation for me.
I will miss mardi gras, the festivals, the food, and the wonderful people of southern Louisiana.
