Bigun, THAT is a Bad Dog.

We'd all been outside, sitting under the RV's awning, enjoying the cooler weather. Bigun was on his 20' line, so he had access to the grass in front, and could easily visit each of us, or rest on the stuffed fleece bed.

I noticed he was trying to pull the bed up underneath him, which was nearly impossible given the amount of stuffing in the bed. I got up and got an old terry cloth robe that I've been using to cover his crate when he goes "night-night."

As expected, he drew it up under his legs, AND THEN crouched and urinated on it!

I was speechless. I've NEVER seen a dog pee in its bed before. Keep in mind that the grass is right there, a foot away from the bed! He'd been scampering around on the line between us and the grass for hours. He'd even gone potty in the grass, earlier.

Hmmmm. I can see this dog is going to have some lessons in store for me.

The robe went into the wash, the bed wasn't wet, but I sprayed it with vinegar, anyway, and hung it in the sunlight. Bigun was left on the rubber mat, ignored for a quarter hour.

Hopefully, that's the last we'll see of THAT incident. Sheesh.
