Hi...All, I am Snehal from India, me @ 36, had to discontinue my advanced studies in early 20s for the sake of supporting family. Now, am well set in business here, but want to persue an International Masters - may be in business.
Self financed, with family ( wife + two young pre-schoolers), I am finding it difficult to decide where to resume my studies.
I have searched extensively on internet for options in USA - UK & Australia. All look good with some or other pro & con. I really wish if locals or some of you who have something to help me decide.
I am seeking advice based on easy transition, kids education, life in general apart from studies and vocational prospects ahead....

I would look into the city of Vancouver, Canada.
There are many opportunities for education, a beautiful city and a large community of people from India so you can go to the local market and find familiar foods and familiar and new fellowship in the community. You may not think this is important, but you wife may. Also, my understanding of the visa requirements in Canada are easier to deal with.Posted 07-28-2009 at 10:42 AM by yukiko11

Tx...Yukko, yeah, Vancouver is fantastic place and Canada in general is better place to live in compared to rest of the three.
However, constraint like proximity to my home country, weather and future business prospect did not make me look at Canada as first preference.
My objective is not immegration but wide my knowledge base as I am going to continue my business back in India and keep travelling between my new study place and India.Posted 07-28-2009 at 11:59 PM by nsnehal -

OK, look into UCLA and USC in California. The reputation will mean more than the degree.
