Haha. Would have been a better send-off to the NFL for DeAndre Washington (and LeRaven Clark, Jakeem Grant, and possibly others). However, it would have been emotional since the W would have been against Ruffin McNeill, who was at Tech for ten years and still has a large following in West Texas (just like another coach who shall not be named).
Still, the atmosphere at the Texas Bowl was off-the-charts. The bowl listed might not have had the same appeal, especially if it were in Florida or another place on the east coast.Posted 04-07-2016 at 06:05 PM by shoe01
