💁🏻Yeah, We Have Hurricanes and Alligators in Miami ....Who Cares?"

Posted 05-19-2018 at 07:36 PM by miagal

Located on Florida's southeast shore and also referred to as The Magic City, Miami has become one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country. But it's also a fantastic place to live! Don't let the seldom hurricane or alligator spotting deter you. Here are a few reasons why Miami is hands-down THE best place to live.

No Income Taxes, Inheritance Taxes or Estate Taxes

Why live in a state with a high income tax? The state of Florida doesn't collect income taxes, inheritance taxes or estate taxes, which means your money goes further here than in most other states that do. Seriously, why would anyone want to pay the government any more of their hard-earned money? No thank you!

Exposure to Cultures From All Around the World

Another reason why people should move to Miami is because it is one of the most diverse cities in all of North America. Home to the largest population of Cuban exiles and their families, Miami offers cultural experiences not found anywhere else in the U.S. Grab yourself some pastelitos (Cuban pastries), pick up a cup of Cuban coffee and relax as you take in the sights and sounds of south Florida's melting pot.

Awesome Weather & Amazing Coastal Views All Year

They don't call Florida the Sunshine State for nothing. As the city with the warmest winter climate in the states, Miami is renowned for its tropical weather. You don't need a snow plow, snow boots or ice scrapers. And the beaches are pristine 12 months a year. What more could you ask for?

Ready for a change of scenery, looking to retire soon or up for an adventure? Now that you know some of the reasons why people should settle down and move to Miami despite its downfalls, the decision should be clear. We're waiting to welcome you with open arms, loving hearts and a minty fresh mojito!

I wouldn't mind having that gator around if an opponent of mine were to swing next.
