For starters, he asserts that Kapiolani and Queens were the only hospitals in Hawaii where children were born in 1961. In fact
at least two other hospitals were doing so at the time; Tripler Army Hospital and St. Francis Hospital, Honolulu.
So we know out of the gate that this "reporter" is making stuff up as he goes.
Second, he never actually says Abercrombie told him
anything about his "search" at all. He doesn't even say he spoke to Abercrombie... mentioning only his "office." Listen to the interview. He never says, "Neil told me he couldn't find a birth certificate," or anything
close to that. He doesn't even say Abercrombie's
office told him anything close.
Third, he claims that Abercrombie searched "the hospitals" for the records, but says nothing about searching the DoH. This is just nuts... for two reasons.
One, hospitals are not required to keep medical records for 50 years. Two, a hospital wouldn't keep those records as a "birth certificate," so the claim that no birth certificates could be found at a hospital (rather than the DoH) would simply require somebody be an idiot enough to look for one.
Then the guy finally goes on to say that Abercrombie "publicly" admitted there was no BC. We know this is not true, and certainly a
private admission to this "reporter" (which he never
actually claims happened) is not a "public" anything... indicating that this "reporter" is merely passing on the second hand information dishonestly alleged by WND.
Pathetic.
