McSame would have won but was very condescending with his smug snickering.

dunno.....

McCain with his "see how he voted and look at my record"

versus

Obama and his "see, McCain is like Bush because that way people will associate everything bad from Bush onto McCain and I will win the election"

I know I am voting for McCain, but seriously, he won tonight. He showed he is 100% ready right out of the gate to go. Obama, not that he is horrible or bad, is just not ready. McCain showed that tonight. McCain was so ontop of the issues. He knows his chit and it is not simply rehearsed, he really believes it and knows it top to bottom. That showed tonight.

I honestly thought Obama had some really good answers, but nevertheless, I am a small business owner and cannot vote for a tax increase that will cause me to lay off employees. What good is a tax cut for 95% of Americans if half of them will end up getting layed off because their employers cannot afford them. I don't think people quite understand how this is going to work, especially with all the money he wants to spend on his programs, but it's not like I'm going to wake up and cry if I find out Obama has won. I'll just go on and do what I gotta do to make things work for me, and hope the Jaguars win their next game.

I think some of that is just the way his face is shaped. It's from the war. It does make him have a certain smug appearance.

I didn't get to watch it all but from the parts I did see I don't think either won. All I saw was appeal to emotion. I HATE IT!

Obama offered round about speech that said little
McCain offered more specifics and direct answers

Obama did better on the economy although McCain has the better plan but didn't portray it well.
