Once a day? Once a week? Once a month?
It has been a while since I've repped some people; the system doesn't let me do it a week ( or more) later)))))

In a 24 hour period: you can give out at most 35 reps to others.

Same person: you must give reps to 25 people before you can hit the same person again.

FWIW-- if you see a wonderful post that really deserves a rep, but you haven't given out enough reps to other people to rep that person quite yet, you can keep a little list to remind yourself to rep that guy later when you can. You don't have to rep someone on the day they write a post.

Right.
I often will get into an old thread from a link or when someone digs up a long lost post, and in reading have a chance to Rep someone for a long-forgotten post from the past.

A "list"? A "long-forgotten post from the past"?
Another
Now when I know what it takes to rep someone - the extensive planning, the depth of thought and sheer determination, I want you people to STOP REPPING ME.
I've counted my reps and I feel so emotionally overwhelmed and unworthy))))

In total agreement! I don't care how old it is......if it is informative and helps me out or makes me chuckle, I give a rep.
