I thought i'd throw something out here and that is whenever a new moderator is welcomed i and/or we never know what forums they will be moderating. So maybe stating in the post welcoming them you could announce what sites they'll be on.

Anyway just a thought.

6/3

We update the mod list here once they settle in.

Thumbs up Good Point, 6'3"

6'3" brings up a valid point. It would be nice having which forum(s) the new moderator will be overseeing listed within the 'welcoming' thread. Although having the 'Moderator's List' is still a valuable tool to be used for future reference.

I second that motion,
Boof

Problem is, not every new moderator is chosen with a particular forum in mind from the start. As I said, as soon as they make their decisions, they should be posted in the mod list. You can ask them to post it in the welcome threads, too, if it's important.

Markablue,

Thanks for the clarification. Now we know the whole scoop.

While each moderator has chosen which part of the City-Data forums they would like to be primarily involved with, let's not lose sight of the fact that the entire staff has the ability to assist any members that need a hand and ensure that City-Data's TOS is adhered to no matter which forum they may happen to be reading through at any particular time.

Can Xa'at and I be the Presidents of the Fashion forum? We both live in Alaska and know about such things.

I second that motion. It takes a true fashionista to make brown rubber boots look "in", which we have done.
