I created this account three-and-a-half years ago, in one of the most frightening times of my life, in one of the most frightening places I have ever lived. I left Northern Maine and stopped posting to City Data.
I would be so grateful to retain the posting history and even to have the screen name attached to older posts. I do not want to start a new account.
I realize that because of the lovely "old school" (how kids would call it) format of the City Data forum interface, lots of options available on other platforms aren't available here. But I would actually pay to have the ability to change my screen name. I am tired of associating City Data with the most nightmarish time in my life.

I could be wrong, but I think the protocol is to DM one of the Senior Mods (Yac or Marka) with your top choice, and a few other options in case it's not available. And it's free!
Coincidentally, there have been a few other threads with similar topics posted here recently, so word has been getting around.
