On my posts its says JoshB and a small line underneath says Senior Member. I've noticed that some people have almost there own slogan there. How does one change it?
Once you reach enough number of posts, reputation points and after you've been registered here for over a month, the option to edit this line will appear in your profile: My Settings -> Edit Profile
Just out of curiosity, what is the "enough number of posts"? I couldn't initially change mine, presumably b/c I didn't have enough posts and time. Then I waited for a while, forgot to check, then one day, I decided to check. And sure enough, I was able to customize my user title.
o.k. Thank you for that info, but newbie here hasn't a clue about the reputation points. Do they just happen due to amount of posts, time that you've been on board, or is it that folks vote positive at your own posts? I'm willing to bet though that if I were to research more I'd find all the answers.
Thanks for the help. I'm lovin it here.

You can award reputation points by clicking on the scales at the right hand top of the message box of the poster you wish to reward. A message box will open and you can print out a message and leave your own ID so the poster will know who it was that rewarded them. You can also click on the "rate this post positively" at the lower left of the message and it will award a point anonymously. I generally use the scales as I like to insert a message. Once you rep someone you cannot rep them again until you have "spread some reputation around" and when you give out all your quota you will get the message that you have posted too much in the past 24 hours...ok?
