I just published a book (fiction) based in and around Halifax and came to see if there was a Nova Scotia forum. It is surprising to find there is none. Is it included in another Forum?
There is just the Canada forum and the sub-forums for the 6 largest cities in Canada. There are no forums here for any of the 10 provinces or 3 territories. If you want to ask a question about any of the provinces/territories or about other smaller towns and cities in Canada you could just as easily ask the question in the Canada forum as was done with this thread.

You are aware that this forum is an American owned/administrated forum?
So given that fact; asking a question as to why, on the Canadian section of the forum, of posters whom it would be assumed are mostly Canadians, seems somewhat redundant.
You are asking a question of people in no possession of knowledge or facts to enable an answer.
Directing your query to the moderators directly would be a far better avenue in my opinion.

Well...it's owned by a Polish-American, who is in Illinois, but some of the tech staff and the two senior mods are in Poland. (Don't you guys remember the owner, Lech Mazur, posting his tweets on the right-hand side of the page for a while? )
But this question of "why don't we have a forum for <insert desired location or subject> has been asked and answered a hundred times in About The Forum, and the answer is always the same. Forums are only added when there is sufficient regular interest and traffic to keep it going. An occasional question about Nova Scotia doesn't warrant its own forum. It can go right here.

I also notice that only ONE of the SIX city sub-forums has had any posts since March.

Yes, and those have a much bigger population....
just one Toronto suburb, Mississauga, has double the population of Halifax,
Mississauga is in Peel Region, which has more people in it than
all of Nova Scotia.
The way we're going right now, the Ottawa Forum might be dropped soon. Hardly anyone posts there and the few threads don't often get many responses. I can also see the Edmonton Forum merging with the Calgary Forum. I don't know, maybe CDF ought to reorganize the Canada Forums and do one for each province and territory with breakout forums for the biggest cities/metro areas? That is a topic to raise up with the moderators though I am not sure if anyone has the time to do that.
