Hello -- started a thread, got great responses / support, acted on those and reported back // people are still posting and critiquing things that are over and done with. I'm not planning to read the thread any more and IMHO it's really time to close this. Is there something that I can do to stop people from continuing to post / close the thread?
I haven't started many posts so am pretty new to this (mostly a reader / occasional contributor).
Your help is much appreciated. I should have probably checked this out before I started a thread in the first place.

Thanks so much.
You can hit the report button (small red triangle upper right) on your intial post, and ask a mod to close the thread.
But that thread might or might not get closed. Depending on the topic, general interest and valuable info.
When someone starts a thread, she/ he must consider the consequences: undesirable outcome, people quoting or even copying posts and finding them years after the thread was inactive or closed.
The moderator locked the thread for me when I made that request. Thanks so much puginabug and elnina.
