This is really bizarre. It stopped working for me at about noon PST and didn't come back up till I left work at 4:30. Now I'm home and it's 5 p.m. PST and it's working fine. What is truly odd is that a coworker of mine went home while it wasn't working and remembered to try it for me. It was fine there, too.

Wonder if it got blocked... Don't get the usual message we get when reaching blocked sites, though... just the regular browser message appearing when a site is down. The IT people were messing with something over the weekend, but CD was working in the morning.

Please tell me it's not that!

Thank you! Light in the tunnel! 4:30 EST?

And not only the forums weren't working for me but even the main site.

Me too! I had to go get on my crackberry and then use my Verizon anywhere card to get online. I still haven't tried my cable yet; I'm too skeered. I'm here and happy, why tempt fate?

OK, I can breathe now! I can handle a temporary outage, but being ousted forever would suck big time! Besides, if it were to be blocked because of me, I've more to worry about than withdrawal...

I wasn't able to get on here either from sometime during lunch, until just now. From the message I kept getting, it sounded like they had one or multiple problems with the server or the database that's on it.

Thank goodness! Thank you, all!

What spooked me was the fact it was fine at my coworker's home while it was down at work. Guess different servers might've been involved.
