Is there a way to automatically add a signature to the end of blog posts?

I will be starting to add the following signature to the end of my posts but it may get to be a hassle to keep doing so manually since I must first open the Signature custom page, copy, and then paste the bbcode into my regular posts.

My post signature //www.city-data.com/forum/blog.php?cp=19

It's rather small so you may miss it but just look below the blog introduction.

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Carlos

Automatic signatures are disabled both on the forums and blogs except for moderators.

It would be nice if they were at least enabled for blogs I think. My signature for example as can be seen at the link in my previous post is very useful not only to me and my readers but also to helping my blog become more successful here which in turn will make city-data more successful.

I've had several readers who I have invited to come visit my blog who were not city-data members at all but who have since become members.

In order to subscribe to my blog I think one must become a city-data member. If that is so a signature encouraging one's to subscribe at the bottom of my posts is actually an encouragement to become a member too. A good thing I think.

Just my two cents.

I'll go back to cutting and pasting my "signature" I guess.

Thanks for your input markablue. Much appreciated.

Carlos

Cutting and pasting a signature is not a great idea either.

Signatures are disabled. Do not include "manual" signatures in your posts. You can put a lot of information in your profile instead.
If the mods looking after your favourite forums are on the ball, your efforts will be deleted and you may receive infractions.
