Apparently, Eritrea has one of the most repressive governments in Africa. The capital Asmara still has some beautiful Italian buildings. I recall distinctly when Eritrea became a separate country. Seems like only yesterday.

I've always wanted to visit Asmara and Eritrea.

Unfortunate, it seems like that isn't a good idea.
