Absolutely not.


Maybe I could donate the house to an orphanage or a shelter for abused women. In no way would I even consider moving there.

No problem for me. But our home here is paid for, so it's really just an academic exercise.
I would use it as a base and live there while I visit the many places in the African continent that are of interest to me.
I'd stay as long as I was happy there.

What do you mean? Ghana has a significantly lower crime rate--to include homicide rate--than the US.
