First time poster here, I was 12 days late with rent due to my mortgage autopay, incurring ISF fees on the bank and having to wait for them to waive it before I could cash the check which included my rent amount. I called the landlord and informed them of this with the promise to pay on Friday (yesterday) I did pay in the morning, but now I'm hearing all sorts of stuff from friends / family members that they can accept it and still post an eviction / vacate notice, or they can accept it and still start the legal process, and all sorts of people telling me that they may have already started the process but perhaps the letter got lost in the mail.

I've spent the last few hours on and off reading about renters law and eviction laws for this state, and I'm still a little confused if this is actually going to happen / possible. If I paid in full + late fees, I should be out of the woods, right? Some say that if the LL accepts the money they can't legally evict, some say they can accept $ during the process... It's all a little confusing and it's giving me a migraine.

A lot of people said that 10 days late was grounds for eviction, but I was 12 days late, so I'm worried that even though I paid it in full, they could still post a notice or evict...

I've only ever been late one other time, but I'm starting to worry they'll see a pattern they don't like, (I was late 6 days last month)
