Hi All

I grew up in Tallmadge and have since moved away. Will be back in area for New Year's eve. Can anyone tell me where the good parties are? Preferably one with a hotel!

Thanks
Michelle

Most UA students will be back home for break. Akron's party scene will leave with them.

Sad, but true.

There's a very active First Night celebration in downtown Akron, but there aren't any hotels downtown anymore.

I never spent New Year's in Akron when I lived there. I think most people go out of town...

There are 2. Well 3 if you want to be technical, but I don't think any normal person would stay in the third.

City Centre (used to be Radisson) and the Quaker Inn at UA (used to be Crowne Plaza).

Oh, thanks. I didn't know about the first one, and I thought the Quaker Inn was no more.
