Hi, we are debating moving for a job in Brundidge from out of state. We'd ideally like to rent for 6 months then buy but buying is an option if we're confident on the area. We're in need of advice of places within a 30 min or so drive that are also good for kids. I have one child with autism that will be starting pre-school,so we need to be in a good school district. Any advice on prek's that specialize in kids with autism would be appreciated. We're country folks but want to be within 20/30 min from the grocery store, restaurants, library, etc. A community where family is the focus but not one of those cookie cutter housing developments where everyone is on top of each other. We like older homes with character. Thanks

I would suggest Enterprise, AL! Although it's not for me (I'm a city guy), my parents live there now. They love it. It has a small town feel but being near the Army base, there is a surprising amount of culture. It has quite a bit of restaurants, average shopping, and really good schools.

Troy is nearby and it's a college town.

Thanks, we are looking at Enterprise and Ozark, though Enterprise seems to have better schools...
