I sympathize with you but unfortunately, drugs are everywhere. Methadone is a HUGE problem in rural areas because the ingredients are easy to get. If you husband has a problem and doesn't want to get over it, he will find a supplier no matter where you go.

I agree with Southlander that there are no areas left that are drug free. It seems that many rural areas have become even more drug ridden than cities. You can escape it in an apartment in a city about as well as you can living as a hermit down on the river... making a living and living right are the biggest challenges you will face in your future. My advice is simply to move and limit your friends and who you associate with... churches included.

I can understand your wanting to get away from where you are now to start over. If your husband is an addict then more than likely he will find drugs no matter where you live. Addiction is a medical problem for most people and most can not stop without help depending on the drug of choice. Getting away from old friends will help but may not solve your problem completely. Good Luck

Decatur Al is a great christian town. There's good jobs there and in Huntsvile as well.

You can come to Poland. We are really catholic country. 95% of us are catholics. I have never seen a one drug deeler around my area of living or even in bigger cities. We are aware of this crap, that's why no one buys it here

North Alabama is very christian. Athens and Madison are pretty good areas. Dothan may be an option also.
