I didn't give anybody anything. I put on a mask and kept working the whole time in an essential job. I never got it and I attribute that to social distancing and wearing a mask and the grace of God. And now I'm vaccinated.

Incredible how these old men with a high school diploma know more about covid than doctors, virologists, and immunologists that have been doing this for generations. May we all strive to be them

No kidding. Science denial is something that is simply incomprehensible to me.

Generations? The restrictive measures put into place as responses to covid are unprecedented. Do you honestly not comprehend that this is wholly something new?

Just because someone may be knowledgeable about covid, it doesn't follow that they necessarily know the first thing (or care) about the law, principles of commerce, value judgements, opportunity costs, human sociology, or basic morality.

None of this is new, our species has gone through several pandemics, we have been plagued several times. THIS ISN"T EVEN OUR FIRST INTERACTION WITH COVID. Do you remember the SARs epidemic. That was literally the coronavirus we have been dealing with just slightly different strain. None of what you list makes any sense, it's as applicable. You may not "necessarily know the first thing (or care) about the law, principles of commerce, value judgements, opportunity costs, or basic morality," but you know, at least they have knowledge that is actually needed for society, what do you have?

Please re-read my post, and then think about all of the things you said above.

I think you need to do some proper research instead of following your own opinion. Tough Circumstances requires tough measures, and this is a time in history where the world need to take extreme measure even if you may disagree

Just because we've been through pandemics don't mean that tough circumstances aren't gonna happen time and time again. There's a very clear difference

I don't see a difference between the current pandemic and past pandemics (except that the current one is much milder than some in the past).

The difference lies in the responses to it, which are completely unprecedented.
