It's not a fake vaccine. My blood was tested for antibodies, and it showed positive just like I had actually had covid. It had been negative up until I got the vaccine.

According to the CDC, a vaccinated person, who doesn't get sick, can still spread the virus. I would feel over-the-top horrible if I knew I had done that and someone got sick or otherwise as a result.

Nope, it's completely unnecessary for me to clutch at any straws as science is on my side.

I don't trust you at all, as you have not proven yourself trustworthy on this topic. I've never once witnessed what you're describing. The only hostility I've ever witnessed has been against normal people, i.e. the unmasked.

Science isn't on your side. Just whatever pseudoscience you can dredge up to rationalize your self-centeredness.

As for the hostility is concerned, here you go. Only because you choose to ignore it. There are literally thousands of these videos of these halfwits.

I guess the amount of ignorance from some posters about masks in Alabama shouldn't come as a surprise.... Snowflakiest of snowflakes. Can't be bothered to do something to help others because "AMERICA! YEA! FREEDOM MEANS NO MASKS!"... Frankly, it's sad how childish they are.

Wearing a mask doesn't help others. In fact, in this context, it's harmful.

I've read that Madison County and the city of Huntsville will also end the mandate in line with the state. I believe the city of Madison will follow suite. Also read that Birmingham will be voting on April 6 on their stance. I have not noticed any other city or county notices but I suspect they're out there.

From what I understand; business can choose whether or not to either request masks be worn or require masks be worn. Some large retailers have reported per al.com that they will leave orders requiring facial coverings in place. Suggested signage: “Mask Preferred” or “Mask Required For Service”.

To me, I would think confusion, chaos, and 'fights' will ensue given the allowance for governments and businesses within the state will be allowed to set their own rules. From a business point of view; I guess it would be much like the "no shirt, no shoes, no service" type of rule.

1. In the event you live in an area that doesn't require a mask, will you continue to wear a mask?

2. Does your masking decision depend on your vaccination status?
I had my second shot two weeks ago and I will continue to wear a mask, at least for a while (a few months) until danger is past. If you'll not when you see scenes from Texas, which is "wide open" - most people are still wearing masks. It's the smart thing to do, in my opinion.

Presumably you're qualified to make such a statement?

This is the problem when people allow their political biases and wishful thinking get in the way of commonsense public health. The CDC, the Mayo Clinic, and dozens upon dozens of other researchers have confirmed the effectiveness of masks. But some guy in Escambia county thinks they're full of beans. So I guess he's right and they're wrong.

Either that or the guy is just too big a baby to wear a mask. I'm guessing that's the real truth here.
